D-I-E-T…..HELP!!!!!

Yep…. I’ve decided to go on a D-I-E-T!! Pray for me, people…. I’m gonna need it!! I have zero willpower. ZERO!! Right now there are brownies in the kitchen calling my name. WAH!!!!! But I have decided that I want to be more healthy, the weight loss will just be extra. Oh, who am I trying to kid…. The HEALTHY will be the extra! LOL I have finally gotten myself to the point where I am ready to try again. I now know what were my biggest downfalls the last couple of times. Now I know I have fibromyalgia. Now I know WHY I have been craving sweets sooooooooooooooooo much. I have gone vegetarian! And I am eschewing sugar altogether. GULP!!!! I figure if I put it all out here than it will be harder for me to fall off the wagon. LOL I HOPE it will be harder anyway… LOL

I am ALMOST finished with the McCall’s M6553. If life would stay out of the way I will be able to get it done! LOL I should have already finished it.

Here is what I have so far……..

I am SOOOOOO glad I decided to go with the 2 shades of blue! And wouldn’t it look great in grey and pink???? LOL Ohhh, black and red????? OMGosh!!!!!  I need some more fabric…. LOL

When I got home from doing the grocery shopping I found 3 boxes waiting for me. 2 very good friends sent stuff to make and stuff to fill Bags of Hope and Love!!!!!!! Aren’t my friends AMAZING??????? THANK YOU!!!!!!!! I am hoping to make my first drop off at the dept. of social services on Tuesday!

I am going to be sewing away on some more bags this weekend!! 🙂

Forget the word diet. Think good health, increasing your physical strength, and not spending lots of money on medications. You have 2 options with the brownies: cut one brownie in 4 pieces, bag each piece in a zip lock bag, equals 1 serving for 4 days OR take your brownies to a food shelter to share with others who are in need too. Look and analyze your eating habits with each meal as you would with a pattern or new design. What are your options and best plan to accomplish your project. I reduced my calorie intake by reducing my serving size. Eat only when I am hungry not because the clock says its noon and society says it is time to eat. During lunch I walk so I am taking control of my new pattern and becoming healthier. I have chosen to be more physically active, to always keep moving. God does give us the strength we need daily and it is always our wisest choice to pray and talk with Him all the time. I will pray for you and please pray for me too. You’ve made a great decision…job well done! Lola Date: Fri, 31 Aug 2012 21:23:58 +0000 To: davinci29@hotmail.com

    • Thank you SO much, Lola!!! EXCELLENT advice and I will definitely be following it!!!!
      Thank you, again!!!!!
I lost a lot of weight years ago but I didn’t go about it the right way. This time I hope to be healthier and do it the right way. 😉

  2. Gray and pink?!? What are you…a child of the 80s? lol Red and black would be smokin’ hot though!
I’m praying for you and I agree it isn’t a diet, its a change in life.

  3. Don’t listen to them, Stacy, I love pink and gray! 🙂

And I feel your pain on the weight loss. I went back to Weight Watchers a couple of weeks ago and I feel mentally and physically better already. I’m here if you need to talk or vent!

  4. Diet or not .. Stay healthy 🙂 By the way I thing Grey and Pink is an amazing combination. Of course it depends on the shade chosen LOL , Wadya say ?

  5. See, Stacy, I like pink and gray, too… but I would go hot pink and light gray, lol!

I hope things go well for you on the diet front, and like others said, it’s a change in diet, not A diet… that might help:)

    I need motivation… but I won’t give up meat,lol!
